If you are looking for a modern keyboard that produces a great Hammond organ sound but isn’t in fact a Hammond then this Roland RV 700 Combo does the job!

Cons

  • the display is quite small and doesn’t show much information
  • you can’t route non-organ sounds through the rotary simulator

Customer Tips

  1. Some of the Electric Piano Patches are hidden in the “Other” patch set so check these out.
  2. The volume of the rythm patches is best set to 70.
  3. You can make any change you like but will need to use up a User Patch in order to write and save the change.
  4. Rythms cannot be saved.

Conclusion

For the price this Roland Combo is a great organ and ideal for using at gigs. The sounds are authentic and the feel very much like a real organ.
